Jason Momoa as “Book Boyfriend”

It is no surprise that fans of Jason Momoa often picture him in their head as the protagonist of the romantic story they are reading.  Whether it’s the hero of the story…or the bad boy character, Jason embodies a certain rough and tumble wild man essence that makes him the perfect book boyfriend.  You don’t have to look far on social media to see fans posting pictures of Jason into author groups and proclaiming him their vision of this character or that character.

And it’s not just fans.  The authors themselves often say that Jason Momoa was either the inspiration for their romantic hero or that they see him in the lead role when a possible film or television adaptation of their books may become a reality.

A quick perusal of the internet brings us some fan favorites, including Carson Steele from Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley.

Another popular book boyfriend choice for Jason is Wrath from the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward.  Wrath is described as the last pure-blood vampire, leader of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and King of the vampire race.  At 6’9″ with pale green eyes and black hair slicked back, Jason Momoa sounds like the perfect match.
