Jason Momoa’s Big Night with Slayer and Anthrax

It’s no secret that Jason Momoa loves his metal music as he is often seen wearing Metallica and Black Sabbath shirts.

The actor is in Budapest, Hungary, having filmed his role of Duncan Idaho in the Dune reboot recently. Momoa was treated to backstage access to a show with Anthrax opening for Slayer.

Jason shared videos on his Instagram Story from the Anthrax portion of the show and took photos with band members after the show.

He then shared more photos and videos from the Slayer portion of the show, including a special cooler the band left for him backstage filled with Guinness beer!

Momoa parties with both Slayer and Anthrax after the concert, tossing back many Jagermeister shots.

We hope Jason Momoa gets to come home to his wife and kids in Southern California soon, but in the meantime, special access to a Slayer and Anthrax concert will ease the pain just a bit. And it appears that Jason is done filming as he posted about the concert and used the hashtags #dunedone and #thatsawrap.
